Peter currently serves as an Upper School history teacher and Social Studies Department Chair at Wakefield School in The Plains, VA. He has been teaching history for just over a decade and has served many roles in his career as an educator, including advisor, grade-level dean, coach, and educational consultant. Peter holds a bachelor's degree in History from Ithaca College and is currently pursuing a Master's of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Virginia. His work with The 9:57 Project includes leading students and faculty in expeditions to the National Flight 93 Memorial, writing and implementing our curriculum guide, and designing and updating our website. Peter lives in Virginia with his wife, two children, and far too many pets. When he isn't teaching, Peter enjoys cycling and keeping up with his favorite sports teams.
