We design experiences that encourage and empower young people to be active citizens by providing them with unique learning opportunities facilitated by America's Veterans
"Lines of Fire," our free set of six stand-alone lessons is designed around engaging classroom learning experiences and unforgettable primary source documents that help students make sense of September 11th and its effects through eye witness accounts of troops, Veterans, and their families.
Invite a Veteran to your school to share personal testimony of 9/11 and the resulting wars and to share valuable lessons in leadership. These presentations can be formatted to fit the needs of your school, whether that be through small group discussions in classrooms or large assembly presentations.
Operation C.R.E.S.T. is an effort to provide young people with an opportunity to seek powerful leadership lessons of Courage, Resilience, Service, Empowerment, and Teamwork from America's veterans. It also provides a chance for students to serve by preserving Veteran stories through the Library of Congress.
Our goals of providing memorable leadership opportunities for young people facilitated by America's Veterans, are furthered through our summer programs. These immersive experiences provide deep learning outcomes and give students an opportunity to serve alongside one another.
